A lavishly-produced coffee table volume on Goan real estate giants, put together by the Times of India Group (Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd.) and featuring Devashri Nirman LLP (also known as Devashri Real Estate Developers) was released at a glittering unveiling ceremony held at the Vivanta by Taj, Panaji on the afternoon of Saturday, the 30th July, 2016.
The function was presided over by the deputy chief minister in the Government of Goa, the Hon. Francis DSouza, who also holds the related portfolio of Town & Country Planning. Releasing the book together with him were Mr. V. M. Prabhudesai, Director of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Goa, and noted swimmer, Ms. Talasha Prabhu.
Representing Devashri at the release were Deputy General Manager (Projects), Dattaprasad Priolkar and Senior Manager (Sales & Marketing), Jayaprakash Tilve.
The handsomely-produced Times of India presentation includes an elaborate entry on the Firm, snippets of an interview with Designated Partner Mr. Shrinivas V. Dempo, a short account of the genesis and evolution of the Devashri brand and the history of its landmark real estate construction projects across Goa. The management style at Devashri, its corporate social responsibility, its USPs, Mr. Dempo’s vision for the firm and his view of industry trends are some of the matters covered elaborately in the book, accompanied by glossy photographs of projects past and present (read the pdf entry here, kind courtesy the Times of India Group here).
Coming as it does from an independent, non-sectoral perspective, such as that of the Times of India, it is gratifying to see Devashri included in the pantheon of real estate icons of Goa!
