Celebrating World Environment Day across multiple locations, Goa Carbon showcased its unwavering dedication to environmental stewardship. At the Goa Carbon plant at St. Jose De Areal to the Paradeep and Bilaspur sites, employees came together to raise awareness and take action for a healthier planet.
In Goa, 56 trees were planted within the premises, with Plant Head Mr. Bailochan Jena highlighting the importance of proactive environmental responsibility. At Paradeep, a rally led by senior leadership underscored the need for continuous action, inspiring employees to become ambassadors of change. Similarly, Bilaspur’s event focused on reducing plastic waste, with employees pledging to minimize its usage and increase awareness.
At the head office, we took a symbolic yet impactful step by distributing desk plants to enhance indoor air quality and workplace well-being. The corridors were decorated with greenery, creating a serene and eco-conscious environment.
On World Environment Day, Goa Carbon reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability with tree plantations across Goa, Paradeep, and Bilaspur.
