Hindustan Foods Ltd. has for the first time reported profit for the financial year ended 31st March 2015. The Company reported a top line of 1,742 lacs for the year ended March 15 as against 318 lacs for the six months period ended 31st March 2014. Similarly the profit for the year ended March 15 was Rs.250 lacs as against a loss of Rs.133 lacs for the six months period ended 31st March 2014. The present profit consists of adjustments of Rs.1105 lacs ‘write back’ after getting consents from lenders which is shown as ‘Other Income’ and also provided for an amount of Rs.539 lacs in respect of ‘Miscellaneous Expenses’ and ‘Bad Debts written off’ which is shown as ‘Other Expenses’.
