The Navhind Times in association with the NUSI Wockhardt Hospital held a super-speciality medical camp at Varca which saw tremendous response. The camp was launched as part of the community outreach programme and the first of the many to be held across the state.
Benaulim MLA Caetano Silva was the chief guest for the function. The camp had people turning out in large numbers to seek medical assistance from the experts on back and neck pain, cardiologic, orthopedic and other issues.
General Manager of The Navhind Times Pramod Revankar said that the organization is committed to take up programmes and events in the future which will be beneficial to the society adding that this was just the beginning.
Speaking at function Silva thanked The Navhind Times for organizing the medical camp which has been beneficial to the people bringing healthcare to their door step. He said people hesitate to go to hospitals because of their busy schedules and encouraged such camps in other parts of Benaulim constituency. He also extended full support for taking up such causes which will benefit the public in the future.
Orthopedic specialist Dr Ismael Sheikh also spoke at the function.
