The Dempo Group has collaborated with the Education Department of the Government of Goa in a project advised by Chief Minister Manohar G P Parrikar and facilitated by his Officer on Special Duty Rukhma Sadekar – upgrading the computer lab of the Government High School Alto Betim by using Raspberry Pi 4 devices through Uzzoorba Technology Pvt Ltd.
The upgrade has been an unqualified success with none of the lab’s computers left unused in a scenario marked by an average class strength of 32.
The School’s computer teacher, Ms. Ambika Phalke, is all praise for the upgrade, saying the software has been useful to students and her alike. The Headmistress, Ms. Anjali Malik, is grateful to the House of Dempo for their support, and is delighted with the results achieved by the upgrade.
