The entire work force of the Company’s Plant at Paradeep in Odisha observed Biswakarma Pooja at the premises on 17th September. Offered with devotion across the state and at the port town in particular, the worship of Lord Biswakarma, who is the presiding deity of artisans and architects, was performed at a specially erected mandap, or covered religious structure. An image of the deity, made with reverence and love by local artists was ceremonially installed and pooja undertaken. Workers in large numbers, along with Plant Head Mr. Ranganathan Ravi and other executives took part in venerating the lord.
