Dempo Vishwa Gramshala held a Faculty Stakeholders’ Values Education Workshop on the 5th floor of Dempo House on October 27, 2024. All our DVG Faculty from GHS Kasarpal, GHS Sal and GPS Kasarpal gathered on the Sunday morning before Diwali Break to participate in the workshop. Conducted in house by Team DVG, (Dr. VM Chowgule, Programme Director, Ms. Rupali Desai, Programme Manager, and Mr. Samir Nadodkar, Field Liaison) themes included character building and taking personal responsibility, combatting negativity and apathy, and encouraging mutual respect and cooperation within the Learning Community.
After a delicious Goan lunch served by the Dempo House canteen Staff, Veteran Educator and Grassroots Activist Dr. Narayan Desai addressed the group before Mr. Shailesh Zingde, Director of Education also joined the post lunch discussions.
To cap off the day’s activities, our Patron and Benefactor, Chairman Shrinivas Dempo graciously dedicated his Sunday afternoon to personal interface with his DVG Stakeholders in an informal Townhall Meeting. It is DVG’s commitment to these kinds of intimate, hands-on initiatives which sets it apart from other CSR initiatives in the State.
