Dempo Vishwa Gramshala’s Programme Director, Dr. Victoria Chowgule, participated in a panel on Value Education during Difficult Dialogues (partnered with Oxford University this year) held at the International Centre of Goa in early February 2019. DVG’s ethos revolves around building character in their student stakeholders, and in supporting learning environments which promote global conscience, civic engagement, and critical thought as the basic underpinning of all educational experience.
The panel included the Vice Chancellor of Goa University, Varun Sahni, professor of Cultural Policy Studies at the American University of Paris, Yudhisther Raj Isar, Professor of Hindi, University of Delhi, Apoorvanand Jha, and Dean of Education Faculty, Goa University, Allan Abreo, in addition to Dr. Chowgule.
