Fourteen year old Tanisi Kirtani, Goa’s table tennis wonder kid, did India proud in the global sporting arena by winning a team silver medal at the prestigious ITTF FAJR CUP championship held at Quazwin, Iran, from the 26th to the 30th August. The decoration came in the JUNIOR GIRLS TEAM event. Playing alongside her was fellow Indian lass Varuni Jaiswal from Hyderabad.
The House of Dempo are proud and pleased at the strides being taken by their young paddling ambassador across the global table tennis stage and offer Tanisi their warmest congratulations on the feat, with the hope that silver turns to gold going forward, both in team events and solo!
