Dempo Charities Trust has announced its special scholarship scheme for the current academic year 2015-2016 under the style ‘Late Padmashree Vasantrao S Dempo Memorial Scholarship’ for the meritorious and needy students residing at St Cruz (Tiswadi).
The main objective of this scholarship scheme is to assist students of St Cruz (Tiswadi) in pursuing their higher education, and to encourage them in attaining academic excellence.
For the current academic year 2015-2016, altogether 25 scholarships will be given to the students of St Cruz (Tiswadi).
Applications should be residents of St Cruz having obtained a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the previous academic year. The scholarships will be given only to those students pursuing education in government-recognized educational institutions.
Application forms are available at the office of St Cruz panchayat or at the office of Dempo Charities Trust, Dempo House, Campal, Panaji. The last date for submitting the applications is October 15.
