Playing in 3 tournaments, he gained 31 ELO points to take his ELO Rating to 2454, now 46 ELO points away from the 2500- mark. His ranking is Joint -45th in the All India list.
- Playing in XXVIII Abierto Internacional De Roquetas De Mar Spain, young Anurag scored 6.5 points while remaining undefeated, finishing 8th in the prize list. He defeated GM Sedlak, Nikola ( 2529) of Serbia, GM Lemos Damian ( 2516) of Argentina, drew with GM Grigoryan Karen H. ( 2571) of Armenia, GM Edouard Romain ( 2613) of France and GM Tazbir Marcin ( 2524) of Poland.
- Playing in III Sunway Sitges International Chess Festival Group A Spain , the Dempo goodwill ambassador scored 6 points and drew with GM Burmakin Vladimir ( 2535) of Russia and GM Peralta Fernando ( 2574) of Argentina.
- Playing in XLII Abierto Internacional Ciudad de Sevilla, Anurag scored 6.5 points. He defeated GM Saric Ante ( 2542) of Croatia and drew with GM Burmakin Vladimir ( 2526) of Russia.
